Church Mission Statement
The Church of Quantum Sciences is devoted to the spiritual practice involved in the beliefs surrounding a God founded in the logic of science and the miracles afforded by the logic of quantum science. While one side of our organization is dedicated to scientific advancement the actual church is dedicated to providing a spiritual sanctuary for people who share in our fundamental beliefs.
The church is a believer in the one true God (Jehova, Yahweh, the Father, Brahma) and so is welcoming of all practitioners and religions who believe similarly. As such the doctrine is largely inclusive of works such as the Holy Bible, (the Torah,) Bhagavad Gita and will also include dialogue from sources such as the Book of Urantia, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Talmud and more. If there is a specific book not mentioned here that a practitioner would like to explore as a group we ask you to submit this request to management along with a brief explanation of what specific concept or content that you wish to cover as a group; some extra content we have planned include the canons of Buddhism such as Pali Canon, Chinese Buddhist Canon, Tibetan Buddhist Canon and even some philosophy books like the Philokalia. Because of the unique nature of our church and affiliated organizations we will also be exploring works on quantum physics, miracles, consciousness and more; we hope to be able to use accumulated knowledge and unique perspectives from our services to write our own collection of works on this unique topic and possible subjects therein!
Because of the similarity to most organized religions our services and functions will operate according to similar schedules and agendas in order to help bring people together under similar and shared beliefs and in order to help provide a safe and rational space for these people to explore the logistics of believing that science and spirituality are inherently linked together. As such the average service will be conducted as follows:
– Opening Services
– Hymns and Gospel
– Sermon
– Prayer (Intermission/Early Communion)
– Open Platform Sermon (Intermission)
– Prayer (Intermission)
– Communion (Hymns and Gospel – Early Closing Services)
– Closing Services
Special services will be held to celebrate spiritual holidays and special events and include extra functions such as potlucks, theatrical plays and fund-raising events like cake-walks and educational guessing games.
The rules and specifics regarding each function are posted separately from this mission statement and are either available upon request or are posted below this section as an addendum (on website). We would like to thank you for staying long enough to read this statement and hope that you will join us for a service! Thoughts and prayers are with us all especially in these conflicted times!
